Abstract
The reduction smelting organization of metal-containing waste by converter slag has revealed the possibility of directly reducing iron with solid carbon without any casehardening. The analysis of the results of the experimental preparation and reduction smelting of ore-coal furnace charge based on converter slags are used to develop the technology for treating them in order to make HQ structural steel.
