Abstract
The results of studies of the effect of fillers, such as chalk of MTD-2 and Omyakarb 5KA grades and kaolin, on the cohesive and adhesive strength and on the viscosity of uncured sealants based on nitrile butadiene rubber are discussed. The effect of external factors, such as water and high temperature, on the adhesive and strength properties of sealants was studied. It is shown that the use of MTD-2 chalk as a filler makes it possible to use nitrile-butadiene-rubber-based uncured sealants as an adhesive layer in the repair of PVC roofing membranes.
