Abstract

The semicoking process of 2B brown coal under an excess pressure of external gases in a range of 0–30 bar was investigated. The dependence of the main characteristics of the resulting product on the process pressure, temperature, and heating time were found. The characteristics of the brown coal semicoke obtained by heat treatment under pressure are presented.
