Force Distribution in Planetary Pinion Gears

  • Published:
Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

Various models are considered in calculating the forces at satellite–pinion contact points in planetary pinion gears. The force distribution over the pinions is calculated for each model, and the results are compared with experimental data. The applicability of the models is assessed.
