Abstract

The article summarizes the practical experience of performing work to prevent hazard events in the near-Earth space (NES), including the mathematical formulation of the problem of calculating the collision probability, work on detecting potentially hazardous asteroids, and general principles for detecting potentially hazardous conjunction of space objects. Approaches to the formation of the common classification of hazard events in NES are considered. A description of the components of the classification system in the form of separate units is presented.
