Results are provided for a comprehensive study of bentonite clay of the North-Dzhamansai deposit of Karakalpakstan in order to prepare ceramic heat insulation materials. According to chemical-mineral and fractional compositions, as well as physicochemical characteristics of bentonite clay, the possibility is established of its use in the production of ceramic heat insulation materials for various purposes.
