Investigating Aptamer-Functionalized Silver Nanoparticles as SERS Substrates for Selective Protein Detection

Abstract

Procedures are developed for the quantitative determination of proteins, recombinant thrombin, and hemagglutinin on the influenza A virus, based on the SERS effect observed on aggregates of silver nanoparticles modified with aptamers to thrombin and hemagglutinin, respectively.
