Abstract:
Answering Michael Lundblad’s call for critical disability, animality, and human-animal studies to come together in more productive ways, in this response essay I argue that the focus needs to be on the historical material conditions of transnational capitalism that enable the tripartite constitution of Otherness—be-coming disabled/be-coming animal/be-coming Black.
