About the author
Rod Ellis is a Research Professor in the School of Education at Curtin University, Australia. For the last eight years he has served as a visiting professor at Shanghai International Studies University as part of China’s Changjiang Scholars Program. His research focuses on second language acquisition and its application to language teaching.
