Scham als Aspekt des Analytikerseins und Analytikerwerdens

Zusammenfassung

Dieser Beitrag bezieht sich auf Hofstadlers Text im vorliegenden Heft und beschäftigt sich mit dem Affekt Scham in der psychoanalytischen Situation aufseiten des Analysanden sowie des Analytikers. Dabei geht es vor allem darum, zu ermutigen, wenn Scham vom Analytiker intensiv empfunden wird, diese kreativ zu nutzen, um den psychoanalytischen Prozess zu einem fruchtbaren Fort- oder Ausgang zu führen. Der zweite Teil widmet sich einigen der Ausbildungssituation inhärenten Konflikten, die Scham auslösend sein können. Dabei geht es auch um die Rolle der Identifikation mit dem Lehranalytiker. Es wird für ein bewegliches Ich-Ideal plädiert, sodass der erlebte Mangel eher richtungweisend als lähmend verarbeitet werden und sich innerhalb der Trias Analytiker, Kandidat und Ausbildung ein kreatives Potenzial entfalten kann.

Abstract

This article refers to Hofstadler’s text in the present issue and is concerned with the emotion of shame in a psychoanalytical situation from the side of the patient as well as the psychoanalyst. The principal intention is to encourage the utilization of these feelings when found present by the analyst, by creatively using this emotion to encourage a productive and beneficial progression in the psychoanalytical process. The second part is devoted to some of the conflicts inherent in the training situation, which can trigger shame. In this context, the role of identification with the teaching analyst is at stake. An argument is made for a flexible ego-ideal, so that the experienced deficiency can be processed as an indication of direction rather than paralysing and that a creative potential can unfold within the triad of analyst, candidate and education.
