Abstract:

We prove the consistency of the relation $\binom {\mu ^+}{\mu }\nrightarrow \binom {\mu ^+\ \omega _1}{\mu \quad \mu }$ where $\mu$ is a strong limit singular cardinal of countable cofinality. This result can be forced at $\mu =\aleph _\omega$.
