Abstract

The possibilities of tandem mass spectrometry have been studied for the technology of analyzing aralosides in the pharmaceutical composition of Multifitoadaptogen (MFA) and extract of the roots of Aralia mandshurica (which is an ingredient in MFA). Chromatography is performed on an ACQUITY UPLC BEH C18 column in gradient mode. A TSQ Vantage electrospray ionization triple quadrupole mass spectrometer is used. In MFA, as well as in the extract of the roots of Aralia mandshurica, Aralosides A, B, C, and/or their isomers are identified.
