Zeiss-1000 SAO RAS: Instruments and Methods of Observation

Abstract—The paper describes Zeiss-1000, the one meter telescope of the Special Astrophysical Observatory of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SAO RAS), the history of the development of its observation methods and potential areas of astrophysical research. Detailed attention is paid to instruments and methods of observation which are in service nowadays.
