Optimization of the Process for Producing 5-Nitro-2-Acetylaminobenzimidazole and its Bactericidal and Fungicidal Activity

The main factors affecting production of 5-nitro-2-acetylaminobenzimidazole were identified. The process was optimized using mathematical experiment planning. A mathematical model was compiled. A regression equation was calculated. The optimum process conditions including the temperature, duration, and quantitative ratio of starting compounds were found. The bactericidal and fungicidal activities of 5-nitro-2-acetylaminobenzimidazole against Xanthomonas malvacearum culture were studied under laboratory conditions.
