An Adaptive Control System for a Winding-Machine Electric Drive

Abstract

It is suggested to upgrade a winding machine via adaptation a control system with the use of the wire stretching accounting unit and using the requirements of current regulatory documents for production of ultrathin wire coils. Based on these requirements, the winding machine is adapted and configured to form a tension on each section of the winding chain and on the entire system. The results of upgrading allow us to determine the required characteristics of equipment and products, as well as make it possible to perform a preliminary technical and economic comparison of various design solutions. Results of simulations and adjustment of the control loops of the winding machine and tests of the suggested recommendations have been presented.
