Abstract
In view of the unsteady venting of tanks at coke plants over time, measurements of air-vent emissions are difficult. Accordingly, calculation is more expedient. Methods are reviewed for calculation the main types of tank emissions: minor breathing losses, major breathing losses, air admission, convection, and evaporation from a free surface.
