Abstract

This article is an addendum to a recent publication by Chandra et al. [Phys. Rev. D 102, 044035 (2020)]. We present updated results on upper limits on the merger of intermediate-mass black holes (IMBHs) with total mass between 210M and 500M, mass ratio 1 to 7, and generic spins using data from the second Advanced LIGO observing run. Based on our analysis, we place the most stringent of our upper limits, of 0.28Gpc3yr1 on the merger rate density of precessing equal-mass intermediate-mass black holes with total masses of 210M.
