Abstract

This letter aims to contribute to the debate around the difficulties and pitfalls with the interpretation of solid-state 13C nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectra in graphitic materials, with special emphasis on the case of 13C-enriched samples and particularly dealing with the models used to fit the spectra recorded in magic angle spinning (MAS) experiments and the interpretation of the spectral parameters obtained by spectral fitting.
