Accuracy of Simplified Head for Monitoring Manufacturing Tolerances

Abstract

A simplified monitoring head is proposed, and its kinematic accuracy is analyzed. The effectiveness of this head—that is, the monitoring precision—when monitoring manufacturing tolerances depends on the length of the probe.
