General Relations between Elastic Losses and Dispersion in Dissipative Media

Abstract

An experimental study is performed of the frequency dependences of complex elastic moduli of ceramic matrix piezocomposites with strong elastic dispersion and losses. The experimental data are compared to theoretical results obtained using general Kramers–Kronig relations.
