Measuring the Change in the Polarization of an Organosilicon Flexible Polymer upon Crystallization in an Inhomogeneous Temperature Field

Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Sciences: Physics Aims and scope

Abstract

Results are presented from experimental studies of the change in the polarization of polydimethylsiloxane upon adding 0.5% methyl and vinyl groups (grade СKТВ-1 synthetic rubber) according to currents of polarization measured upon crystallization in an inhomogeneous temperature field. A ratio that includes the polarization of flexible polymers and parameters of crystallization in an inhomogeneous temperature field is proposed, based on an analysis of experimental results.
