To the Question of Simplifying the Methodology of Modeling Folded Structures

Abstract

The possibilities to use the M-corrugation type folded aggregates as a part of multilayer panels of the aircraft structures are investigated. A method avoiding complex kinematic calculations for modeling the M-corrugation type folded structure by means of modern computer-aided design systems has been developed and tested. The prospects of developing similar models of the folded structures based on flat-faced corrugations are shown.
