Abstract
An analysis is performed of the dynamics of the orientation structure of an ferrocholesteric liquid crystal inside an elliptically polarized magnetic field perpendicular to the helix axis. Analytical solutions to the time dependences of the angle of director rotation is obtained as function of system control parameters.
