IGS-Based Selection of Technological Bases in Machining a Slotted Shaft

  • Published:
Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

Formalization of the search for technological bases is considered in the machining of a slotted shaft. The ISG format is employed. The use of geometric information in IGS file format is analyzed. The following parameters are identified: the spatial position of a plane; its coordinates; the coordinates of its vertices, the configuration of the generatrices, and the edge positions.
