Stanosilicates based on Sn-magadiites applied in conversion of fructose at moderate temperatures

Abstract

Sn-Magadiite stanosilicates were successfully synthesized by the hydrothermal method. They were found to be efficient in fructose conversion, particularly at 130, 150 and 170 °C. The temperature of 150 °C was ideal for the formation of retro-aldol fragmentation compounds.
