About Nucleation on the Line of a Three-Phase Contact of a Vapor–Liquid–Solid During the Growth of Nanowires

Abstract—The concepts of nucleation processes occurring near the three-phase contact line are developed under conditions of poor wettability of the vertex (end) face of the threadlike nanocrystal by a liquid catalyst drop.
