Synthesis of Peroxides Based on Polyfluorated Polycarbonyl Compounds

Abstract

The reactions of polyfluorinated di- and tetracarbonyl compounds with tert-butyl hydroperoxide proceeds at one or several carbonyl groups, depending on the ketone structure. The resulting peroxides are of interest as initiators of radical reactions.
