Abstract
Sustainable economic development is essential for human survival in conditions of growing environmental pollution. Restructuring of the international economic system entails the adoption of sustainable principles by all industrial enterprises. Quality management systems, bestides improving product quality, will decrease waste, make economical use of raw materials and electric power, and decrease environmental pollution, thereby permitting sustainable development.
