The NUMECA FINE/Turbo package was used to simulate gas-dynamic flow in a model Advanced Noise Control Fan; the calculation results were compared with experimental data. Fan tonal noise was simulated for two geometry options (14 and 13 outlet guide vanes) in FINE/Acoustics, and the calculated and experimental parameters were compared.
