Abstract—We have compared the antitumor activity of aurumacryl, a new cancer drug, and several well-known cytostatics with different mechanisms of action, that is, cisplatin, cyclophosphan, 5-fluorouracil, and doxorubicin, on experimental murine solid tumor models: Lewis lung carcinoma and Acatol adenocarcinoma. Aurumacryl is more active than the listed cytostatics except for cyclophosphan. Aurumacryl inhibits the growth of Lewis lung carcinoma and Acatol adenocarcinoma by 70 and 74%, respectively, compared to the control.
