Abstract
The features of interannual (1948–2015) time series of variations of critical frequencies of the F2 layer during disturbances are studied based on the large array of experimental data on observations by the Moscow ionospheric station. It was shown that parameters of ionospheric disturbances such as the amplitude and intensity increase with statistical significance starting from the 1970–1980s. The annual numbers of negative ionospheric disturbances unrelated to geomagnetic activity are also increasing. The detected effects may be due to both geomagnetic trends and anthropogenic activity.
