Characteristics of Radio-Signal Detection for the Nonlinear Decision Function of a Threshold Device

We consider the characteristics of radio-signal detection using the nonlinear decision function of a threshold device. This work is aimed at estimating the influence of the difference between the nonlinear decision function of the receiver threshold device and the step function on the characteristics of detecting radio signals with a random initial phase and random initial phase and amplitude. New analytical expressions for the probabilities of correct detection of radio signals and false alarm are obtained.
