  • Published:
Chemistry of Natural Compounds Aims and scope

Two new compounds, 3',5'-dimethyl-4',6'-dimethoxy-2'-hydroxydihydrochalcone (1) and 3',5'-dimethyl-6'- methoxy-2',4'-dihydroxydihydrochalcone (2), were isolated from the CHCl3 extract from Empetrum nigrum L. var. japonicum K. Koch. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods, including UV, IR, HR-ESI-MS, and extensive 1D and 2D NMR techniques.
