Controllability of a New Nonparametric Statistical Criterion Alternative to the Wilcoxon—Mann—Whitney Test

Abstract

In this paper, we introduce a notion of controllability of a nonparametric statistical test and compare the powers of a new controllable nonparametric statistical test and the Wilcoxon— Mann—Whitney test for cases with samples from exponential distributions.
