Abstract
The deformation-induced anisotropy of metallic alloys is studied using the Bakhauz model of anisotropically hardened body. The following three types of nonmonotonic loading of a cylindrical blank are analyzed: reversed tension–compression–tension–…, tension and compression in the transverse direction after tension (compression) of a blank in the axial direction, and an increase in the critical (limiting) strain of the blanks subjected to nonmonotonic loading along the axis. A comparison of the calculated and experimental data demonstrates that the Bakhauz model adequately (with a deviation of <10%) corresponds to the real properties of grade 45 and 30KhMNA steels.
