Development of a Method for Evaluating Alumina Ceramic Material the Wear Resistance

  • Published:
Refractories and Industrial Ceramics Aims and scope

Amethod is developed for rapid evaluation of the wear resistance of ceramic materials by changing the roughness parameter Rt. The method is tested successfully on samples of alumina ceramics made according to various production conditions. Analysis of the method provided is compared with results of ceramic material tribological tests for abrasion.
