Abstract

A morphological description of the rare deep-sea skates Bathyraja fedorovi, B. andriashevi, and B. tzinovskii from the northwestern Pacific Ocean is presented and data on their biology are considered. The structures of the neurocranium, scapulocoracoid, and pterygopodia are described; data on the number of abdominal and caudal vertebrae, rows of teeth, and coils of the spiral valve in the intestine are provided.
