Abstract

An ad hoc network is a set of distributed nodes dispersed within a relatively limited area with wireless connections. Based on available paths, hierarchical algorithms divide the network into two levels of hierarchy. The main goal of this paper is to design an optimum allocation algorithm in the wireless networks using a fuzzy logic (FL) algorithm, namely fuzzy-hierarchical algorithm. FL is adopted due to its simplicity in calculation to improve the speed by reducing the exchanged information. Results demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed algorithm.
