Calculation of the Ultimate Resistance of the Pile Basis in Pile Groups

  • SOIL MECHANICS
  • Published:
Soil Mechanics and Foundation Engineering Aims and scope

Calculation of the bearing capability of piles in a pile field, based on the calculations and tests of single piles, taking into account their interaction with each other through the soil ground, is proposed. Differences in the operation of a single pile from a pile in a group are shown. The main attention is paid to determining the dependence of the ultimate resistance of piles on the parameters of the pile field.
