Abstract
The article proposes an algorithm for constructing maps of expected abrasion of the friction surface of a earth-cutter part. The importance of this work is caused by periodic changes in modern crop cultivation technologies, which require changes in the geometric shapes of earth-cutter parts and prediction of their service life. An abrasion map characterizes wear intensity at various points on the friction surface of the earth-cutter part during its movement in the soil environment.
