Synthesis of indium(iii) acetylacetonate by electrochemical dissolution

Abstract

A single crystal of indium(iii) acetylacetonate (In(acac)3) was obtained by alternating-current electrochemical dissolution of indium metal in the presence of acetylacetone in acetonitrile. The structure of the obtained product was confirmed by X-ray diffraction.
