Abstract—
A 14 MeV neutron flux monitor has been designed to configure the NG-12I neutron generator in pulsed mode and measure the relative 14-MeV neutron flux. The principle of operation of the pulsed channel of the neutron generator NG-12I is considered. The structural diagram of the monitor is given and the principle of its operation is described. The monitor allows real-time monitoring of the relative flux of 14-MeV neutrons and the background component due to the action of the neutron source in the time intervals between pulses. The results of the monitor readings are given.
