Abstract
The efficiency of ozonation for the removal of color from textile azo dye solution containing Acid Red 14 by ozone was studied. The effect of ozonation time on the decolorization of azo dye has been examined, and the results were analyzed in terms of color removal efficiency. The high color removal efficiency of 93% was obtained after 25 min of ozonation. The effect of buffer solution on the ozonation was also studied, and the results demonstrated in terms of treatability effect for the removal of color from azo dye solutions.
