Highlights:

  • UiO-67-Ru-catalyzed oxidative cross-coupling.

  • Visible-light-induced the synthesis of sulfones.

  • Recyclable and reusable heterogeneous photocatalytic system.

Abstract

A novel approach to generate β-acetylamino acrylosulfones using the photocatalyst UiO-67-Ru under visible light has been developed. The entire reaction is applicable to sulfone-containing skeleton and exhibits good substrate scope. UiO-67-Ru-catalyzed protocol provides a sustainable and efficient access to construct a variety of sulfones via the direct functionalization of C–H bonds.

    Citation Excerpt :

All the related reactions were performed in cross-coupling of enamides and sodiumsulfinates under a visible-light-induced oxidative. UiO-67-Ru can be recycled many times and has no any change in nature and stability [215]. Recently, new CO-releasing framework materials by post-synthetic supporting of photoactive MnBr(bpy)(CO)3 core into the UiO-67-BIPYDC, MnBr(BIPYDC)(CO)3@UiO-67 have been reported [216].
