Editorial Overview: Integration of dynamic processes in cell behaviour and tissue architecture

Vania Braga obtained her PhD from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil, and post-doctoral training at Cancer research UK (previously Imperial Cancer Research Fund). She is currently working at Imperial College London, focusing on the integration of signalling from cadherin receptors on epithelial adhesion, differentiation and function.

Andy Ewald obtained his PhD from the California Institute of Technology and conducted postdoctoral training at UCSF. He is currently professor of cell biology, oncology, and biomedical engineering at Johns Hopkins University. His lab focuses on understanding the cellular and molecular drivers of epithelial development and cancer metastasis.
