Imperfect integration: Congruency between multiple sensory sources modulates decision-making processes. Atten. Percept. Psychophys. (IF 2.157) Pub Date : 2022-04-22 Dominik Krzemiński,Jiaxiang Zhang
Decision-making on the basis of multiple information sources is common. However, to what extent such decisions differ from those with a single source remains unclear. We combined cognitive modelling and neural-mass modelling to characterise the neurocognitive process underlying perceptual decision-making with single or double information sources. Ninety-four human participants performed binary decisions

Relative, not absolute, stimulus size is responsible for a correspondence effect between physical stimulus size and left/right responses. Atten. Percept. Psychophys. (IF 2.157) Pub Date : 2022-04-22 Peter Wühr,Melanie Richter
Recent studies have demonstrated a novel compatibility (or correspondence) effect between physical stimulus size and horizontally aligned responses: Left-hand responses are shorter and more accurate to a small stimulus, compared to a large stimulus, whereas the opposite is true for right-hand responses. The present study investigated whether relative or absolute size is responsible for the effect.
