Biomass-derived carbon has attracted extensive attention as anode material for LIBs. However, the specific surface area of pure biomass carbon is generally small, so we present the production process of a nitrogen-rich graphite flake, which was used as an anode material for LiBs to obtain promising electrochemical properties.
