The work demonstrates two methodologies; one utilizing a surfactant as a mesoporogen (200 °C, 2 days) and another using a silane growth inhibitor (160 °C, 3 h) to reduce the crystallite size and increase the surface area. Both methodologies produced high surface area SAPO-11 that was scalable to a 10 g without any substantial change in the textural properties.
