Catalytic Reactivity Supported by Redox-Active Ligands Framing: A Mini Review

Abstract

Transition metal complexes with redox-active ligands is an actively developing field of bioinorganic chemistry. The catalytic transformations encountered by the redox-active ligands with transition metal as the active catalyst in the catalytic mechanism. The understanding of the redox-active nature of the ligands, increasing endeavor are devoted to bring about useful chemical transformations such as oxidation of alkene, water oxidation, bond activation etc. In the past, there are many catalysts have been investigated to transformation of organic species. Thus, in the present review article having target to highlight the redox-active ligands that coordinated to transition metals and perform catalytic activity towards the many organic species with the facts which are citing by some recent research articles.
