Based on current filament method, the model of multistage synchronous induction coil launcher is established. The model considers the coupling effects between the drive coils, between the drive coils and each piece of armature, and between each piece of armature. In addition, in the launching process, the effect of drive coil and armature resistance and inductance generated by skin effect, magnetoresistive effect and current heating effect are taken into consideration. Finally, the 5-stage synchronous induction coil launcher is designed and manufactured.
